Lise and Bertrand are an adorable couple making soulful wines in a tiny village of the Loire Valley, Montlouis-sur-Loire. Because their estate is so small, in order to make enough wine for export they work together with some of their neighbors who also farm organically, to supplement their harvests. In this case they are using 40 year old vines of Gamay to make this delightful, refreshing sparkler without anything added or taken away, except a tiny amount of sulfur.
