The ‘Luiza’ is like drinking a sophisticated pink lemonade; bright- zesty and utterly refreshing. Bojo do Luar is based in the north of Portugal where Vinho Verde is made. Since the climate here is relatively cool and wet making sparkling wine is a great option for their tart grapes. The vineyards are all farmed biodynamically and because they would like to use as little SO2 as possible they now add ground chestnut leaves as a stabilizer; an ingenious addition! The blend is 80% Espadeiro 20% Loureiro. Bring this to any party for a fun hazy sparkler and it will also hold up to a wide range of dishes and spice levels.
