Though the Quinta do Vesuvio owns 326 hectares of land- they only plant vines to 133 hectares in order to preserve the rest in its natural state home to an incredible diversity of flora and fauna. The vines that are planted are farmed organically as they have been been doing for much of their centuries old history.
