This Banyuls from Vincent Cantié and Christine Campadieu is a fortified wine from Roussillon. – 80% Black grenache- 15% Grey grenache 5% Carignan. – Soil: Schist – Aging: Divided and aged in three separate vessels: foudre barrel and large glass jars stored outdoors in the sun – Alcohol: 16% – – Traditionally in the vineyard of Banyuls black grey and white grenache are co-planted in the plots and are harvested together so the wine is a blend. – Ageing : Long oxidative ageing realized for a third of the cuvée in big glass-jugs.
