This was the sole distillery on the Isle of Arran (they opened a sister distillery in 2019 on the opposite end of the island) which enjoys warmer climate than the rest of Scotland and sees plenty of salty- ocean air influence. All the water used comes from the waterfalls of Loch na Davie just behind the distillery and they use exclusively concerto barley. Copper-pot distilled aged in a combination of used Sherry and Bourbon casks then bottled at 46% ABV non-chill filtered with no coloring.
