100% Cambeltown from ‘barley to bottle’ is the mission with the Kilkerran whiskies. These are produced by the Glengyle Distillery (Originally founded by the brother of founder of Springbank) and use as much locally grown barley as possible- depending on the harvest that year. It is malted and milled on site lightly peated double distilled in copper stills then aged a minimum of 8 years in re-charred Oloroso sherry casks; non-chill filtered.
