I urge you to look past this ridiculous label- because it does not at all reflect the beautifully blended Lowlands Scotch whisky inside! As with all whiskies selected and bottled by Douglas Laing & Co the ‘Epicurean’ is bottled without additions coloring or chill-filtration at 46.2% ABV presenting the spirits “as the Distiller intended.” Pale and delicate in the glass with notes of fresh grass linen ripe pear toasted cereal heather honey and just a touch of hot pepper on the finish. A lovely sipping Scotch to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
