Far North Spirits is a Certified Bee Friendly farm-to-bottle distillery in Hallock- Minnesota where their production uses entirely estate grains. They grow AC Hazlet Winter Rye and two varieties of non-GMO corn Blue River Organic and Minnesota 13 Heirloom Corn chosen particulary because of their climate heartiness. The ‘Roknar’ is their attempt at crafting a proper ‘Minnesota Rye’. Aged for 16 months in charred oak barrels and finished in Cognac casks. Rich creamy flavorful balanced spice. It’s almost a shame to put this in a cocktail because of how delicious it is on its own.
