Paul Sutton Bourbon comes from a revived old family recipe for Bourbon from over 100 years ago. Myra Barginear is of the 7th generation in her family to take on the distillery and is committed to sustainability efforts every step of the way. All of the grains used come from the organically farmed Dee River Ranch in Alabama making up their mash-bill of 70% corn- 15% rye and 15% barley. The grains are fermented as sweet mash column distilled and then aged in #4 charred oak barrels before bottling in the highest quality of sustainable glassware. Though this 100 proof the combination of the sweet mash and high percentage of corn make give this Bourbon a level richness and sweet caramel that make it dangerously easy to drink.
