Four Roses has been making Bourbon for over 135 years now and they are still one of the few well-known brands with their own Kentucky distillery- all of their whiskies are “straight” meaning they are aged in new charred oak at least two years 6-7 for the ‘Small Batch’ and the aging happens all on the same story for the most even maturation (unlike most commercial distilleries with multiple floors).
