Massachusetts has a very long history of making rum- so it made sense for Boston distillery Billy Boy to try their hand at it. Made from a mixture of blackstrap molasses which imparts vanilla notes and sweet molasses which has a cleaner fruitier flavor. The rum is then aged in used whiskey barrels.
