Brooklyn chef-turned distiller created this tasty- balanced line of spirits inspired by his Italian heritage. The ‘Alpino’ is made with 18 alpine botanicals, including chicory root, rhubarb root, spruce buds, elecampane root, and eucalyptus. The botanicals rest in non-GMO neutral grain spirit for two and a half weeks, are strained, and proofed down to 45% abv, then aged in Bourbon barrels in a two-stage Solera system that averages one year in age come bottling. It’s sweetened with a blend of organic dark clover honey and organic cane sugar and bottled.
