C. Cassis is made by Rachel Petach in the Hudson valley using local black currants whole green cardamom, bay leaf, citrus rind, lemon verbena, wild honey and neutral spirit. Once relegated to the back of the bar only to be brought out on the rare occasion, C. Cassis makes cassis the main event! The Spritz takes her all-natural cassis and simply adds seltzer making a refreshing low abv cocktail you take with you, not to mention all the health benefits! Blackcurrant naturally contains 3x the daily value of vitamin C as well as being high in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, green cardamom is carminative and balancing, citrus rind is an immunity booster and lemon verbena is digestive and stress relieving.
